We are responding to challenges and changes every day, but what happens when there are multiple compounding stressors that we have to adapt to quickly? Sometimes referred to as a polycrisis, they often compound at times when we least expect it, such as:
* Extreme weather events
* Housing security
* Political instability
* Cost of living
* Family or community pressures
* Family History
* Mental Health
* Emotional and Physical Wellbeing
Each of these elements influences how we react and how well we adjust. At this workshop, we will develop internal resources and techniques to respond to a changing climate while more effectively and compassionately assisting both ourselves and others in adapting to change. How can we all work together to create a community of care, and where can we best use our resources and abilities to support one another through difficult times?
This full-day workshop on Bundjalung Country features talks, group discussions, personal journaling, movement, and somatic therapy to help us integrate these skills. We are led by the following experienced facilitators and therapists to ensure we are developing our personal toolkit to best adapt to change.
